We started an  African Style Drum Circle here at the The Yoga Room Healing Arts Co-op in January, 2012. They are held once a month on the Saturday nearest the New Moon beginning at 7pm. Due to the space of the studio there will be certain limitations, but all teens and adults are welcome. There will be a charge of $3 per person and profits will be donated to Hope House, which helps homeless teenagers struggling to get through high school. Thereby we will be doing a greater good while having fun! We hope that by having a second drumming event on the Grand Strand that it provides another opportunity for drumming ,as well as hosting Drum Workshops and Lessons

We have some chairs to use but bring a cushion, blankets and pillows to sit on.Bring your drums and percussion instruments. We may have an extra djembe or two if other drummers bring theirs to share. An empty metal pot!However you may pick one up at a discount at Andy Ownings Music Store in the Mall. Just mention Positive Repercussions Drum Circle.
